TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE Raffles Creative Rewards Programme

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 'Company' means Raffles Creative Learning (S) Pte Ltd.

1.2 'Subscriber' means a customer who had purchased World Book product from the Company.

1.3 'RRP' means Raffles Rewards Point awarded to a qualified Subscriber under the Programme.

1.4 'RCR' (Raffles Creative Reward) or 'Reward' means any goods and/or services, benefits or other privileges, as may be determined by the Company in its absolute discretion, which may be redeemed by the use of RRP under the Programme.

1.5 'Programme' means the RCR Programme as may be amended, supplemented and/or added by the Company from time to time.

2. ISSUANCE OF RRP

2.1 A Subscriber will be awarded with 1 RRP point for every S$1 worth of their purchase from the selected products of the the Company.

2.2 A Subscriber will be awarded with 1 RRP point for every S$1 worth of a purchase which is made by his/her referral.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to revoke and/or deduct and/or recompute any RRP awarded in the event a Subscriber or his/her referral fails to effect due payment for the transactions.

2.5 RRP accumulated but not utilized on the date its expiry shall become null and void on the same date.

2.6 RRP is not refundable nor exchangeable for cash.

2.7 RRP may not be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, privileges or offers, unless otherwise stated.

3. USE OF RRP

3.1 To redeem an Reward item, the Subscriber must send in their request through the Company website or by email/fax/letter.

3.2 The redemption is subject to availability and provided that the Subscriber has sufficient RRP points for the Reward selected.

3.3 Upon receipt of the Subscriber's selection of a gift item, an confirmation mail will be issued to the Subscriber. The Reward item shall be collected from the Company within two months from the date of the mail, unless otherwise stated. Else the Subscriber is deemed to forgo the Reward unconditionally.

3.4 The cost of collecting the reward shall be born by the Subscriber.

4. OTHER CONDITIONS

4.1 The Company reserves the right to replace any Reward with another reward of similar value as determined by the Company.

4.2 The Company's decision on all matters relating to or in connection with the Programme shall be final and binding on the Subscriber.

4.3 The Company shall have the absolute discretion to use agents, contractors or correspondents or other third parties to administer and/or implement the Programme and the Company shall not be liable to any person for any act, omission or neglect on the part of such agents, contractors or correspondents. Any instruction to redeem an RRP Reward received by any agent, contractor, correspondent or other third party appointed by the Company to obtain such instruction shall be binding on the Subscriber who has given or purportedly given such instruction and the Company shall be entitled to act and rely on such instructions.

4.4 The Company may at any time at its absolute discretion and without prior notice to the Subscriber, change any one or more of these Terms and Conditions.

4.5 The Company reserves the right and at any time at its absolute discretion and without giving any reason or notice to withdraw, cancel or invalidate any RRP credited to any Subscriber without liability. No Subscriber shall be entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever in respect of such withdrawal, cancellation or invalidation.

4.6 In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Programme, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

4.7 In the event that the Company decides in its absolute discretion to discontinue the Programme permanently, the Company shall give written notice of such discontinuation to the Subscriber. Such discontinuation shall take effect from the date stated in the notice, which in most instances, shall be no less than 30 days from the date of the notice.

4.8 The Company may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend the Programme at any time.

4.9 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and the Subscriber hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
